the item works like a charm. gives great and varying water textures in blue light on the ceiling. it can be powered by outlet, usb cord or 4 AA batteries. about an 8" box, very compact and simple. has a built in speaker to play music and comes with the audio cord. only 3 buttons: volume up, down, and power. the power button turns it on but not off. just unplug it to turn it off.
it says it's waterproof but a warning on the box is to avoid humidity. that seems contradictory. on the whole i'm pleased.
